"A fantastically funny and loveable show" TOTAL THEATRE
"An absolute gem" THE DUBLINER
'Something Blue' is a theatre cabaret about the highs and lows of falling in love. Jammy Voo blend clowning, a capella singing, puppetry, rapid constume changes and physical theatre to explore this rich and universal territory. Accompanied by a giddy array of live and recorded music from Ella Fitzgerald to Rufus Wainwright. Angela de Castro guest directs.
'Something Blue' was first created during the Summer of 2006 with funding from Arts Council England and played a short sell-out rural tour. In July 2007 Jammy Voo worked with world-renowned clown Angela de Castro to further develop the production. It then had a hit run at Underbelly Venues, Edinburgh Festival 2007 and most recently as part of the PEN festival at The National Theatre, London. In Spring 2009 we embark on a UK and international tour. Click here for tour dates.
